38 weeks and want to rip my pubic bone out and a possible yeast infection?
For the past almost three weeks my pubic bone has been very sore. The last couple of days have been the worst. I have been active this pregnancy, I exercise regularly and otherwise feel great. It's just this damn pubic bone is killing me. It hurts whether I am active or if I am laying down resting. It hurts so bad sometimes I cry a little (usually when I am getting up from bed). Sometimes I seriously think it's broken and other times it doesn't hurt that bad and is tolerable. I do move on a regular basis, I don't really sit still for too long. I don't know what station the baby is in or anything (I haven't been checked for dilation, effacement, or station yet) but the doctor does say the baby is very low and engaged so I'm sure that's what it is from. I have brought this up to the nurse and doctor and they told me about a maternity support belt, but the doctor said since baby is so low it may not do too much so I didn't buy one. I have tried stretches, walks, sitting on a yoga ball, taking a warm bath, and none of it relieves pain. I don't know if I am doing the right stretches or not, but does anyone have any other idea of how I can relieve this pain (other then having the baby)? What worked for you?
I've had the joy  of getting my very first yeast infection with this pregnancy during the beginning of the second trimester. The doctor just prescribed me monistat 3 day. I am pretty sure I am starting to get another one and I am 38 weeks. Do I just take the same stuff again even though delivery is so close? Or will I need to be prescribed something else?
