    I
    Am new here. I use Thunderbird and almost every time I delete an email Thunderbird says Not Responding and I have to wait until it responds, sometimes 30 seconds or more. It's making me crazy. Thanks.

    Is the program making it through your firewall? Some programs have to be authorized for them to work properly. When you "read" email then it is incoming - no problem with the firewall. When you delete then it is outgoing. Possible block from firewall. Also have you tried reinstalling the software or tried running it under "admin" ?
