Don't know. Have you checked any trailer towing guides on line, asked at a dealership. Here is a website that may tell you

Jeep Grand Cherokee WJ - Trailer towing

I know it says Jeep, but a towing guide is pretty basic in description and this website tells you if you can or not.

Your owners manual should tell you how much you can tow. What is the weight of the trailer? How many axles? Rate the hitch to total weight and tongue load, usually 10% of weight. If it is close to the hitch capacity, go to the next class. Most hitches are Class 3 or 5. If you have a V-6 you should be OK. I have a Nissan Frontier with a 4.0 V-6 and a class 5 hitch, 5000#.

The only way you can find the best answer to this question is to ask the producers of the maximum towing capacity of the trailer hitches they make, they have these numbers very well set, you won't get any confusions after that. With the Internet today you won't have problems in finding some contacts to make a call.
