    Getting guardianship of my nephew

My sister has allowed us to have her son for 279 days out of the year. She leaves him the rest with other people. She has a sugar daddy lawyer that keeps her record clean and a guy that says she works for him and lets her stay in his rent house. We want gardianship. The father is single and works late and out of town. What do we do?They say we have to prove she is unfit.. No she has not harmed the child . She just leaves him where ever. She loves him but does not know how to take care of him. We have a stable home and have cared for him most of his 2 year life.

    Hello ann:

Sounds like things are working pretty good as they are. If you file, she might not let you seem him at all. Besides, as you've been told, you're not going to get it.

First its not a good idea to piggyback your question on someone else's. This can lead to confusion. You should start a new thread. So I've moved your question to its own thread.

You need to get your own lawyer. They can tell you what your chances of getting guardianship are. If you can prove that the child spends 75% of the year with you, you may be able to get guardianship.
