    New Business Plan
Hello-Thanks for your input in advance...
I have a "food product" idea that I want start selling. I think that I want to "test market" this idea by making it myself and selling it at the local County Farmers Market. Although my product is a "fresh, refrigerated. Uncooked" product (by the way it's actually a cucumber pickle relish that my Korean mother has been making for over 40 years... lots of garlic.. yummy, yummy!) :)
Anyhow, how can I find out the specific legal guidelines that I'll need to follow in order to be able to make and sell this product?
AND, secondly, if I choose to pay a company ($30,000) to help be obtain a "production scale recipe", labeling, ingredient search.. etc... Where can I optain information about "GRANTS". Particularly minority owned, etc. I paid a company on the internet $29.00 to E-mail me information but when I received it, it read like one would have to be a "rocket scientist" to understand what it was all about.
Thanks for ANY help and "words of wisdom"! :)

    A place to start
A great start would be to join the N.A.S.E. (The National Association for the Self Employed) They are a non profit organization that was created by self employed people just like yourself in 1981. They can help you get your business started and help you even write off your health insurance premiums, prescriptions, and over the counter drugs on your taxes.
