    How long should you not see a dentist when you have an infected tooth
    My friend has been telling me that one of his back teeth are hurting him to were he has to take meds to kill da pain.. and now them isn't workn.. and his mouth is swellen.. he says he has a infection in one of his teeth.. how long should he wait on seeing a dentist?

    He should have seen a Dentist when the pain began.

    The infection he has could lead to serious health problems and even death. He should see a dentist or an emergency doctor as soon as possible.

    I agree with Judy and he isn't likely going to fight off an infection without script meds.
