My dvd drawer is stuck in the open position and I can't close it. How do I get it closed?

Have you tried giving it a gentle push inward?
I am assuming here that this is a dvd player or recorder and you are trying to close by using a remote. All of these type dvd machines I have seen can be closed manually or by remote and perhaps your remote needs a battery?

Is this on a laptop? If it is you will need to close it. It won't pull in like it will on a desktop.

If this is a computer... a gentle push should be OK do NOT force it, DVD players are real delicate and you can damage it.
