Hi! I have a Craftsman Lawn Tractor Model 91728001. It has a "lever" under the seat that used to allow me to pull the lever out and it would disengage the drive so that I could push or pull the mower to move it without the motor running. Does anyone have any ideas as to what has happened that would cause the lever to stop working? There is a spring that is intact and moves, but does not seem to release the drive. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks All!

Exact model # would be helpful. That lever is, on most models, located on the plate between the rear wheels.
