Okay, I really should stay off the Christianity forum. It was a slow night, and I really did try to help. I think I was doing pretty well. Sadly I also invented a new Deity, GooBoo the tree frog fairy.

Things were going pretty well for GooBoo and me, then WG and Tickle ate him. :(

RIP GooBoo.

But he is a God, so we can resurrect him. In fact, I'm working on it right now. I've lit a candle, danced around a tree singing "GooBoo bruhaha"! He should be alive and well within the next 3 days.

So who's with me? Would anyone like to join my new religion?

Of course you can bring Owen. But he's not allowed to re-eat GooBoo! There will be no more frog legs for dinner!

I'm thinking Owen has a place in this somewhere. The Greeks had many gods, so this could be pananimaltheism, a religion in which there are a huge variety of animals with their unique characteristics. Of course, GooBoo can be the head of them all. :)

I don't want to dance naked either.

I think we can safely say that none of us are willing to dance naked. Let's put that idea on the back burner. Some of the men that join may not agree, but we're women, and GooBoo is behind us. We'll talk them out of naked dancing.

GooBoo is against naked dancing. You would be too if you had frog legs. :)

Heck no! I love meat, and I'm a huge animal lover. But meat is nummy. I could never be a veggie eater, or worse a vegan. Not happening.

GooBoo encourages the eating of meat. He just doesn't agree that frogs are meat. In fact, frogs, and bunnies, are friends, not food. :)

Let's create some guidelines for this religion. Which animals will be in it? What will their role(s) be?

May I write a few hymns? I'm a preacher's kid and used to play "church" with my dollies and stuff animals (and attended church even if I was nearly dead with illness).

Of course you can write hymns. In fact, add whatever you want to this religion.

That's what I love about GooBoo. If you have anything to add, He wants to hear it. He's open to anything. Okay, anything but eating frogs or bunnies. After all, I do control him, for now. ;)
