I have a Kenmore Diswasher quiet quard 4 that is about four years old. The last few weeks I have heard what sounded like the dishwasher making more noise than usual. I went to start the dishwasher today and hit the smart washer / start resume and the washing and cleansing lights come on but nothing happens. It is like the dishwasher will not engage. There is power getting to the dishwasher

Any ideas would be helpful.

Model 665.16003400 kenmore dish washer . To get the machine I have to remove thedoor cover start the machine and then open the machine and replace the door cover every time also the main washer cover does not open . Can someone help
