    Whirlpool Senseon Dryer Blower Problem
I have a 3 year old Whirlpool Senseon Dryer Model GEW9868KQ1. The problem is that the Blower that is attached to the motor shaft is just dangling on the shaft. I can lock the shaft and rotate the blower either direction and it will not loosen or tighten. It almost seem like it is attached to the shaft with some kind of ball joint. The blower rattles a little while the drum is turning and it will continue to spin when the drum & motor stop (for a second or two due to inertia). The noise is just a little irritating. Am I missing a simple fix to this problem?

Ive never removed a blower wheel off a dryer before, but I have taken my share off large commercial ovens. Normally I tear the blower wheel up trying to get it off, if Im lucky I won't damage the shaft. But there are times I have to replace both the blower wheel and the motor. Food for through.

If it dangles like something is broken, then it most likley is. Not knowing exacly what it looks like its hard for me to make a suggestion, but if I can picture this right, I might try to come up with a way to remove that nut. It almost sounds like there is a burr somewhere in it and its hard to loosten or tighten because the motor turns.
