I have a shed in my backyard, it sit on a cement pad about 3-4 inches off the ground. I have carpenter bees drilling holes in the 1x3 under the wood siding in the front of the shed. There are quite a few males flying around to the point that the children cannot enter the yard without being swarmed.
I am looking for ways to get rid of them. Everything that I have read online is about treating them boring into houses or even sheds, in places that are easy obtainable. I don't know how to go about getting close enough to the underpart of my shed and what would I use to get rid of them. I have read that only the female will sting when provoked, but they are annoying to the family.
thanks,
