For my Dance 2 class, I am in charge of creating the final dance that I must perform for my final exam. We all know how hard final exams are, but CREATING THEM? Come on! This will judge how well I am as a dancer and a performer in general, and I want to get this perfect.
Don't get me wrong; I've been letting my creative spirit flow, and I've choreographed about the first 25 seconds of the 2 minutes I need.
Does anyone have any suggestions (i.e. techniques, moves, executions, etc) that are both impressive yet not TOO too difficult to perform? If it helps, I'm basing the whole piece off fighting, martial arts, and I'm using quite a bit of Lester Horton's techniques and ideals. So far, in the 25 seconds I have, it flows really well with the turns, punches in air, etc. I want it to flow with the occasional sharp beat or accent.
