I can't answer this, being 70, but I can safely say that lying is VERY common.
However, your first option needs to be expanded before you consider this a good survey. We all know that there are many different kinds of lies, from the polite, kind ones to the vicious, harmful ones. You also need to help the survey taker by defining what you mean by 'sometimes' to 'a lot.'
