I've ordered from Amazon plenty of times...there is usually some sort of note that tells you how long for shipping. Did you bother to look?

Odin's right, Amazon always tells you when your order is expected to arrive. Check status or something.

Go back to your Amazon account and check your order status.

Often things shipped direct from publisher or manufacturer. Sometimes placed on back order. Often they will say, 3 to 10 days handling. Which puts it at often about 2 week. Did you pay for express shipping ?
