Does anyone have a solution to the problem below? I have configured an alarm server to notify me of alarm events via email but when an alarm (email message) is generated its gives me the following error:

It looks as if everything is OK except the person you are sending the email to is incorrect. Double check the email address

The email address is correct, Can it be a problem with the connection to exchange server?

I can send an email from outlook client but not from telnet session to exchange server...

Any suggestions?

Authentication problems like:
1. Needing to be on the same network
2. password required for email sending
