Constant bad breath!! How do I get rid of it? Its ruining my life so much.
I have severe bad breath every minute every second of my life! This has been going on for 3 years now. Every time I exhale through my nose or mouth I reléase a foul odor and even when I swallow I reléase severe odor as well. I used to go out with my friends and hangout but now days I literally stay in my apartment because of the embarresment knowing that I am seen as the guy with bad breath. I've thought about committing suicide because of this problem. At my old apartment I had 2 roomates and they are my bestfriends and even when I closed the door and put a towel on the bottom of the door to cover the smell from getting out snd my friend told me from his room he could smell my breath every time I swallowed even when I breath he could still smell it from his room. I know my breath always stinks because my best friend admitted it to me and every time I'm out in public and I'm around people they can smell me. I've tried searching up on internet why this happened and how. I used to be a heavy cigarette smoker and I get drunk every night by myself to try to forget about the fact that my life is . I know its not my mouth área, it has to be coming from my sinus área or stomach or lungs, I don't know what to do anymore someone please help me out!! /:

There are medical conditions that can cause this. It's past time to see your doctor.

Get a help for your state of mind, and clean up your act, and apartment. It's NOT JUST YOUR BREATH that's the problem, and that's what your friends are telling you. You should listen.

    Constant bad breath
I have had constant bad breath for 3 years now. I've brushed my teeth multiple times daily and I've tried multiple things to try to get rid of this breath like certain kinds of tooth paste and mouthwash and I still have severe bad breath. Every time I swallow I reléase a foul odor from my mouth and when I exhale the same thing happens. I am only 23 and I work 2 Jobs and I have a nice house and car but that doesn't mean anything when your all alone. I'm always alone. I used to have a lot of friends and I used to go out every weekend and party but the fact that people can smell my breath started catching on and I've slowly just faded away from my social life. I used to have 2 roomates in my old apartment and even when I am in my room and my bedroom door is closed they could smell my breath from the living room! Every time I swallowed they could smell the stench. Its ruining my life. Every night I get completely drunk bymyself. I've thought about putting a bullet in my head with the pistol my grandfather gave to me because I work 18 hours a day to come to my house and be lonely. I'm tired of this, I am completely desperate and I don't know what to do anymore. I know its coming from my sinus or stomach Area because my past roomates have told me right after I brush my teeth my breath smells fresh but its when I exhale through my nose and swallow when I reléase that foul odor. Please help /:

Again. There are medical conditions that can cause this. We can't diagnose over the internet. You will have to see your doctor. H Pylori is just one of the medical conditions.

This is really a fairly common medical issue, I know several people who have had it.
But there are many different medical reasons for it. So you will need to be treated. Even others have body odor. I had a friend, who would shower and use deodorant but within 30 minutes could not stand to be near him.

So you are not embarrassed to live daily life offending people, but afraid of going to a doctor?

There is NO condition that will embarrass a doctor! Go!
I too have known people whose breath was terrible. Showering 4 times a day is ridiculously useless. And all that deodorant and cologne would drive me away as much as the worst bad breath.

It could be from decay/infection. The infection can get into the nasal passages and even the lungs.
And with all the washing you do, you could be making your natural resistance worse, especially if you use antibacterial soaps.
    GO!

As others said, you really must see a doctor. It may be something fairly simple to manage, but you'll continue to suffer without knowing for sure. I know a very clean, well groomed nurse with halitosis. She happens to have chronic sinus infections that play a part. There are many reasons this could be happening. Don't worry about embarrassment in front of a doctor, obviously it's already embarrassing to you to live with it.

I guarantee that no doctor will be surprised by your breath, no matter how bad it is. Doctors have seen it all and they are there to help.

Yes see a doctor, and be sure to tell him the whole story of what you have told us, that you feel compelled to stuff your door with a towel because your friends can smell your breath. He can help with that also, as it's a clear obsession by you based on your friends comments, and 4 showers a day for bad breath?

He needs to know EVERYTHING because this is clearly out of control. Maybe you drinking alone every night has pickled your thoughts.

Yes, a good doctor can certainly help with all of that. It has to be better than living in the hell you are in now, wouldn't you agree?

If the doctor finds nothing, see a dentist. It could be an issue with your gums or teeth as well.

Glad you went to your doctor. Don't give up living because of this. Find out what's going on, and then follow the advice of your doctors.
