    okay I've attempted a question that has been troubling me since Thursday..

    so the question is basically talking about how many times 12.04*10 to the 23inches can wrap around 25,000 miles.

    I'm guessing the equation would look something like this.

    12.04*10to the 23in divided by 1in *12in over one foot... nevermind. That can't be right

    can someone please help.

    You mean 12.04 to the power of 10 ?
    What do you mean with "to the 23 inches" ?

    Please repeat the entire original question to understand what is meant !

    KISS

    25,000 Mi * 5280 ft/mi * 12 in/ft (note the units now will be in inches)

    12.04 E23 inches

    Or (12 E23)/(2500*5280*12);

    E23 is a way of times 10 to the 23 rd power like in Excel.
