    Chronic Bad Breath

Does anyone know what can be used for chronic bad breath?
Is there an operation that can be performed or a special mouthwash?

Go to your local health and nutritions store. Ask them if they carry a supplement that helps to eliminate body odors. Most of them carry something like that. If they do not only will it eliminate any body odors but it will also help eliminate the bad breath. If not then here are some links.

Here are some articles (and advertisements for products) from WebMd that might help, too:

(When researching for this, be sure to use the term "chronic halitosis" - halitosis being the medical term for bad breath)

    Bad Breath
    Hi,
It might be worth a trip to an ENT specialist (Ear, Nose, and Throat) doctor.
They also treat issues with the mouth, unless of course, it's dentistry.
A Professional opinion would let you know exactly what can be done.
I do wish you the best, and good luck.

The first things that you think of are, diet(garlic, onions, etc.), lack of proper oral care(tooth brushing, flossing, etc.), and professional services( Decay and Gum treatments)... Then there are the "other" things... Sinus & tonsil problems, Failure to brush the tongue(specially the back), And diabetes that may not be fully controlled... I am a retire dentist, and I would encourage you to ask that question to your dentist...

It depends why you're having bad breath. If you're aware of what tonsil stones in your tonsil crypts or adenoids, are then there's a good chance that they might be directly related to bad breath. If you'd like information on Tonsil Stones check this site out Tonsil Stones.

I'm copying and pasting this as I've just finished entering it on another post...

Tonsils can cause an odour as can your stomach. You should see your doctor and have these problematic areas assessed. I

If you are brushing and flossing thoroughly every day you may want to add an antibacterial rinse such as Crest Pro Health to your regimine. There is a rinse called CLOSYS that is available through some dental offices which is meant to control bad breath for up to 8 hours. It also acts as an antibacterial and has no taste to it.

Stress is another factor that affects breath. If you are under a lot of stress your breath can be bad.

You can take a look at this site. People from all over the world actually travel to Toronto for this treatment. I have met the owner of this company and she has been doing halitosis research for years. You may find some answers here.

Good luck. I am well aware how this problem can affect your day to day life.
