When dying my hair it always come out with a red tint to it. Should I use hair dye that has ash in it to take that red tint out? Does anyone know of a good color for med brown hair?

Your hair is pulling red because you have natural red undertones in your hair. Most warm hair colors contain a red-base which can bring out more red tones. Try using a green-based (cool) hair color to neutralize the red tinge. Leave the color application on your hair for ten minutes, then rinse it out with warm water.
