    Projectile motion
A ball is launched into the air from the ground at an angle θ=0.5 radians, with initial velocity v=20 m/s. the ball flies through the air from point A at height= 100m, reaches its maximum height at point B,
and finally returns to the ground at point C. Neglecting air resistance and assuming the acceleration due to gravity is uniform and constant at g=-9.8.
    1) find x and y components.
    2) using v=u+at find time when it reaches max point B ( note that initial velocity in y component=0 at this point)
    3) find maximum height at B using s=ut+1/2 gt^2

Hello rsr. You need to show us your attempt to work this problem out, and then we'll help you if you get stuck. So to get started: question (1) asks for x- and y-components for the ball's initial velocity - can you show us what you calculate for that?
