    Ronson lighter
I have a 1950 era ronson windlite that uses liquid fuel How do you take it apart to add fuel and change the flint

The inside of it slips out. Simply pull gently on the upper portion. You will find cotton in the base of it and that is where the fluid goes. The screw is where a flint would go. The hole in the middle of the cotton pad could be used to carry an extra flint.

That's what I thought. But this doesn't. Its an old lighter with sentimental value. Going to have to take it to someone

Is it decorational ? Or the more common rectangle with a flip top ?

Its best to have it looked at because it may be frozen in there if it hasn't been removed for a long time.
Otherwise it should pull out the top.
