    Warranty
    Mr. Lopez purchased a fridge at Home Depot.
    He used his American Express Blue card to make the purchase.
    Amex offers an extended warranty beyond the manufactures 1-year warranty. But this phase below regarding exclusions, gives him doubt?

    Business fixtures, including, but not limited to, air conditioners, refrigerators, heaters and/or any item that cannot be removed without causing damage to the structure;
    Personally I think it applies to business fixtures.

    Since it mentions "BUSINESS" fixtures.. I will clarify further. Most refrigerators businesses use (like restaurants and retailers) aren't typically the self contained units like used in homes.. and are hooked up more like central air conditioning is. ERGO also the "Air Conditioners" businesses use aren't window units And bigger ones aren't even like your home HVAC.. and have plumbing and electrical (sometimes large water lines to rooftop Chillers) and none of these are simple installation or uninstall operations due to what is left behind. Home depot however to my knowledge doesn't even sell this type items (not even sure if they can be special ordered), if he's buying a break-room refrigerator which often IS the same thing you might have at home.. where you unplug it, and MAYBE unhook an icemaker and wheel it out... those for example do not cause damage upon removal as I would interpret it. But you could call their customer service number and get clarifications from them.

    This also sounds like cooling units not kichen items, that are attached to the home.
