Republican Mayra Flores is projected to win a special election in Texas' 34th Congressional District, flipping a House seat after Rep. Filemon Vela, who held the seat for nearly 10 years, resigned in March and vacated the seat.
Flores, who had 51% of the vote to Democratic candidate Dan Sanchez' 43% when the Associated Press called the race, will become the first Mexican-born congresswoman to serve in the House. Her family moved to the United States when she was six years old.

After the disasterous Mittens run for the Presidency ,the GOP issued an "autopsy " of the Repub party .

Mittens only received 27% of the Hispanic vote and the trend was downward after GW Bush had received up to 44% . This was a concern because the Hispanic electorate was the largest growth demographic, Mittens had suggested that the answer to the border crisis was "self deportation" . The report suggested that instead the GOP should out Dem the Dems in comprehensive immigration reform. " If we do not, our Party’s appeal will continue to shrink to its core constituencies only.”

A funny thing happened on the way to the new improved Republican Party .Trump was nominated . You remember the narrative. Trump was going to forceably remove all the brown skins ala Andrew Jackson's 'The Indian Removal Act' .

He was exactly opposite to the autopsy's suggestions . His standing with the Hispanic vote slightly improved over Mitten's in 2016 and in 2020 was up to 32% .
His coat tails were reflected in how Hispanic support increased down ticket .

As an example , Rep. María Elvira Salazar of Fla won her seat in a district that Clueless won.
And the trend continues , Mayra Flores won in a special election to succeed Rep. Filemon Vela, a 5 term Dem again in a district Clueless won.

Clearly Hispanic voters are not following the script that the Democrat plantation wrote for them .

They are, I believe, the fastest growing minority group in our country. The repub message should ring loud and true with them.

The Slimes new game is to ask Repubs a gotcha question. Slimes Jennifer Medina asked Flores 4 times if Clueless was the legitimately-elected president of the United States . Flores refused to answer . Instead she gave a truthful answer without answering the question directly . She said “He’s the worst president of the United States,”

They would be wise to answer the question with a resounding "Yes," but then go on to say we must have more honesty and integrity in our elections to erase those kinds of doubts.
