How do I go about getting cleaning contracts with apartment buildings and realtors

You could cold call prospective customers. If you go to City Hall or look on the Internet, you might be able to find the contact information about the owners. Maybe other tenants would let you know who the owners are. As far as realtors, just going to visit them might work.

Do you already have business cards, maybe a flyer about what you do and at least liability for this type of work, please?

Also, how long have you been cleaning for others in order to make a profit for yourself?

It is very very hard to get bids...
I have been in the business for three years now..
I have obtained some bids by actually looking up dozens of property management companies and actually just mailing them my cards in information...

Also cold calling I have heard works...

I had a few leads but not much...

Right now a lot of companies are cutting back and just doing in house cleaning so this Industry is very very very competitive

Hard work, that is always the answer. Personally call on each building. Call them up on the phone, follow up with them.

Your attitude is your best or worst partner.

In bad times (and they are), your sweat and desire triumph and you are the prime catalyst to make it happen.

Get excitied! NO ONE is going to hand it to you.
