Hi, my name is Linsay I am 21 years old. I have been looking through all these womens' posts who have had late periods. I am having the same problem. I have taken several pregnancy tests and they are negative. I have already had one baby and I don't feel pregnant, at least not like I did the first time I was pregnant. I didn't have morning sickness, just tender breasts and abdominal cramping.

I have had some crazy symptoms: acne which I haven't had ever! (but now it is clearing up), cramps like I'm about to start but I haven't, urinating a lot, extremely hungry, very irratable, bloated, extremely tired... etc...

I was wondering if a bladder or urinary tract infection could cause a delayed period or maybe a strict exercise regimen? I don't know. I am starting to get worried. Last month it was two days late, but I just figured it was because I had been running or maybe it was changing to a different time of the month.

I am very worried. I need advice! I am leaving for basic training in May and I am freaked out. I thought maybe it could be a cyst or something like that. This is the first time I have ever had a late period in the last two years. The year before that I was pregnant. Please if there is anyone experiencing these symptoms and have been to the doctor please let me know. Or if you just have any advice it would be appreciated!

Women's cycles can change over time. I had a regular as clockwork 27 day cycle for years, and the suddenly changed to a 34 day cycle without any warning! Freaked me out lol! But it is quite normal for this to happen.

If you are worried about your health I would advise seeing your dr, just to rule out pregnancy or a cyst, but its quite normal for cycles to change, so don't worry too much just yet.

But saying all that, I had no pregnancy symptoms at all with my son (my 3rd child) until week 35 when I had pre eclampsia. All pregnancies are different!

I started my period!! Thank God!

My name is Autumn and I am also 21 and experiencing the same problems that you are.I am two weeks late and have taken pregnancy tests, all negative. I have been ungodly pissy and hungry and I feel like everyday is the day my period will come, but it hasn't yet. A friend of mine is a nurse and she says this sort of thing happens a lot. Are you a small girl? She says that it is more typical for petite women to endure stress physically and that the continues stress of missing period only adds to the problem. It sounds like you've got a bit of the world on your shoulders; with a baby and joining basic training. If you're not experiencing pain, I would try not to worry about it. A few years back, during a severely stressful time in my life, I didn't have a period for seven months. But, finally, it came. A woman's body is strange.

Autumnnevrld why is it that petite women experience more physical stress? I found your comment very interesting because I'm petite and have never heard of this before and I have to admit that I'm always feeling lethargic :/

I'm 15 and I'm having the same problems. There's no way I'm pregnant, I'm still a virgin, but my period is 2 weeks late. It's starting to freak me out. I hope that it's just recycling or going to randomly pop up, but I hope that it isn't a cyst like kutlessfan03 posted.

Thank for the info on Petite - I too am curious as to why this is... Im 5'1 and 115 lbs, NO CHANCE I'm pregNANT, my fiancée is in Iraq and I've been "intercourse free" for 4 months... any more info on this topic? My period is late by a few days which is abnormal for me, no soreness of breasts as I normally have but felt it coming on for past week (serious mood swings, exhaustion and some cramping)

I am 8 days late this month. I was also 5 days late last month. I've taken 2 pregnancy tests and both came out negative. Stress? Maybe... But who doesn't have stress in their lives? I feel more confused than ever. I am going to give it until Monday morning and if nothing then I am heading straight to the doctors.

Lol I'm 22 days late and yet no period and all tests negative urine and blood

I am 22 just went to wal mart late at night because I was 2 weeks late I already have 3 kids,, it was negative but I'm now worried about my health

Question. I got pregnant on my wedding night, then lost it 3 months later, I have had a very hard time coping with it, I had a dnc in Nov. and now I am a week late but I took 3 pregnancy tests and they all came up negative, just wondering if this could be due to stress, or if I could be going through that false pregnancy because I am trying too hard to get pregnant

Usually my period comes on 2 days difference either before or late. There is no chance to be pregnant cause I'm virgin . Not in relation with anyone.. my period is not arrived yet.. it's really became a big problem for me.. it was on 18th last month.. I'm getting all symptoms that I start my period but its not actually.. I read all post and few article about why it happened. I was really stressed in past few weeks that could be the strong reason for this but what if I miss another one? Is there any tablet or something that helps? please reply me if any one knows.. Thanks..

I have 2 kids and my period has always been on time.I may come on a day early but never two weeks late! I just started and I had a positive prgnancy test. So what is happening with my body
