I sent 2200.00 for a girl from ghana to come to the us to be with me she is now telling me she needs 2000.00 for physical and that the air ticket is 1500.00 she told me she has 1350.00 in her pocket is this true and what do I need to do now

You sent the money probably by Western Union, right?

There is no legal recourse. It's pretty much a live and learn lesson.

If you sent it by WU then you have absolutely no chance. You didn't even send it to a real person. The name you sent it to doesn't exist. They only need the confirmation number to collect the money and it can be done from any WU branch.

I am always interested in how/why people fall for these scams. How did you first come into contact with this person?
