Converting Gas water heater and heat to electric.
I bought my home in November of last year from my grandmother... I was told everything was electric. It's not. And natural gas right now is f'n expensive. I have central air, the unit is only a couple of years old and still under warranty. What I am wondering is Can I use that same unit for the heat? Or does it have to specifically be set up or bought that way? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but I don't have a clue about any of it? I know I will have to get a new water heater, but what about the heat? I have $4700 to spend is that going to cover it? Or am I wishful thinking?
