Gas water heater & gas dryer
I just moved into an duplex and purchased a gas dryer in excellent condition from a local thrift store. My trouble is, I don't see anywhere to hook the gas line (from the dryer up). It looks like there is just an electrical outlet. Can someone help?

Isn't there some kind of two prong gas line adaptor thingy that I can buy so that it can hook directly up to the gas water heater and get the gas that way?

Unfortunately, No. The problem here is that the area where your dryer goes is only set up for an electric dryer. You'll need to sweet talk the landlord into running a gas line to it.

Thank You for answering so quickly. Do you know if that will be very expensive?

    You're certainly welcome.

Materials-wise, very cheap. Depending on how far the closest elbow is, probably under $25 or so... but, labor wise, anywhere from 2-5 hours.
