On the movie "Patriot Games," Harrison Ford was in this pub, and the house band was playing a song.

I have heard that the band's name is The Chieftans, and the only lyrics I can catch are "here's to you, me brave Irish laddies..."

I don't even know if it IS The Chieftans, and I certainly don't know the title of the song.

Any help?

The band is not spelled "The Chieftans" it's spelled "The Chieftains" BUT apparently the band is not "The Chieftains" its "Blended Spirits" and the song is "Pride Of Our Land" or "The Pride Of Our Land" either way I cannot find the song anywhere, it's like it doesn't exist.

I've been looking for that song for years. Patriot games came out when I was in high school & every time we drank, I would sing that " blended spirit" song, pride of our land. Thank you, I now know what that song is 25 yrs later
