how do I find 2x squared plus 5x minus 3 over x squared minus 2x minus 15 all divided by 3x squared plus x minus 2 over x squared minus 4x minus 5?

Wouldn't it be easier to use ^2 for square, - for minus, and + for plus, instead of typing it out word for word?

Is this what you mean:

$\frac{\frac{2x^{2}+5x-3}{x^{2}-2x-15}}{\frac{3x^{2}+x-2}{x^{2}-4x-5}}$

Rewrite as

$\frac{2x^{2}+5x-3}{x^{2}-2x-15}\cdot\frac{x^{2}-4x-5}{3x^{2}+x-2}$

Factor each quadratic and cancel accordingly. It will simplify down quite nicely.
