I am trying to find out the name of a movie. I think it was from the mid-nineties. The movie was science Fiction

Aliens had impregnated a woman. Her husband wanted the alien fetus to be removed. But, the Aliens wouldn't let that happen. Every time the operation would be set to start, the unseen aliens would stop time. The operation would never happen. We never could see the aliens.

Well I know when they would stop time we never could see them. The doctor and the lady's husband would seem as if they were in a trance or something when time started again. Hope this made sense.

This is really all I remember about the movie. I think I fell asleep on the ending.
