I have had a boyfriend before but we didn't act like we were dating at all. Now I have a boyfriend again ( different one) and I really want to act like we are dating. How should I act like we are dating and how do I do it without embarrassing myself half to death?/:confused::confused:

I know I am in the same position huuniie! But then I thought you don't really need to act as if you are together because otherwise it seems unreal! So if you actually just be together just normally people will start to notice and they will think you are going out but not in an acting way!

If you really are in love with him, why are you so embarrassed to be around him?? You shouldn't date someone that you're not comfortable around. I would suggest strengthening your friendship before you move forward into a more personal relationship with this guy. After all, you're talking about "acting" like dating because you don't want to embarrass yourself. Be yourself around this guy- if he breaks up with you, it's his loss. Relax and have some fun- but unless you're ready to get serious with this guy (as in, loving him for your lifetime, or marriage... ) you'll break up with him. If you're not serious, don't date.
