    Display Connect DeskTop with PS3
    I have a SONY VAIO VGC-LT 15E and a PS3

I want to connect my PS3 to my VAIO all in one Desktop.

VGC LT 15E has Composite Audio/Video Input and has the TV Tuner also has an S-Video input and USB connection (of course), it also has an iLink interface: 1 4-pin interface

on the other hand PS3 has 1 HDMI & Analog: AV MULTI OUT x 1

How do I connect them with each other so I can use my All-in-One DeskTop as a display unit for the PS3.

There is something called USB to HDMI converter has anyone tried or have knowledge on that. The item is sold as Sony HDMI Cable w/ USB Cable Pack

    Any help will be appreciated.

I probably wouldn't go with the HDMI to USB cord..
    HDMI has a Bandwidth of 10.2 Gbit/s
    While USB has a 480 Mbit/s

May be choppy but I have never tried to before.

I would just go with the AV Cords from the PS3 to the Desktop.

Less quality display that way BUT it would be safer than buying a USB cord.

There isn't an HDMI Capture card for PCs..
There is a DVI, which is compatible with HDMI, Capture card but its EXPENSIVE!
If I was you I would buy a Y, Pb, Pr capture card.
Up to 1080i that way, and it's not as expensive.

I don't think there is a output connection available to external display.
BTW - My display card blew. I called Sony but they will have to replace the entire mother-board since its built in which cost a bunch. Yeah... it blew up just like that, no reason at all. Thank you SONY!!
