What does this mean for my UPS package?
Okay so I checked my tracking number for my package from UPS and it said it arrived in my town. So I waited for it to come. After a while it was the time where UPS closes and I never received my package. I check the number again and see a departure scan for my city. WTF? (private information removed for safety)

It means, the package may have went wrong place, but most likely it was scaned to go to local point for delivery the next day. Many cities have several UPS sub stations, where packages go from main station.

A UPS tracking can show a scan to your town. But unless it is scanned "Out for Delivery" its not actually on the truck.
