Are you thinking of drinking distilled water? IF this is what you are asking, there are many disadvantages. First, distilled water has no mineral content. Non distilled water contains several minerals like calcium, sodium, magnesium, sulfate, etc... This is an important source of minerals. Unless you have certain medical conditions, most municipal water supplies are very safe. Drinking distilled water would lead you to farm more problems than drinking tap water.
