Sounds like to me he's not as deeply involved emotionally with you as you are with him. If he was he wouldn't have had relations with his ex.

Let your feelings be clear to him what it is that you want from him, you need to make them clear in order to avoid any future guessing/mind games.

Seriously, I don't care HOW sweet or nice or "passionate" he seems to be with you, run away as fast as you can and do not look back, I don't care how cute or appealing he is. He's manipulative and shady and he's not going to magically start treating you right if you have sex with him. Just don't waste your time on this guy. Trust me, you're just going to get hurt and be disappointed. He may seem super sweet and nice and may be the hottest guy around and maybe you get the craziest butterflies when he's around you, but IT'S A TRAP. It's a trap that is going to make you feel like an idiot if you fall for it, and it's going to totally mess with your self-esteem. So don't fall for it. Tell him it was great knowing him, and move on. There are way better guys out there who aren't going to go behind your back like that.
