I have switched out my old fridge for a newly converted deepfreeze that serves as a fridge with a temperature control digitally hooked up, saving me around %40 on my electric costs as it seldom turns on to stay cold. But can I push even further? My question is could I put a blanket underneath the unit to insulate it even further, or should I use styrofoam board all around it maybe? Hard to imagine I can do better than the savings already established by why not try? THanks!
