My girlfriend lives in North Carolina. She is on probation for fraud (forging a prescription) from Missouri. She also did it in Florida. The Florida case is closed or as she put it "shut." She wants to move to Illinois to be with me. I need to know how difficult it would be for her probation to be transferred to Illinois, what is involved, etc. Any direction I can be given in this matter will be greatly appreciated.

She will need to request a transfer though her probation officer. Normally they will want things like fines or any programs ( if required) to be completed first. There will be a formal procedure to request this
