Should I bleach my hair or Do a full heavy all over bleach highlights?
Info on myself. Blue eyes, fair skin, pink undertones, natural hair color is dark blond. Last month I had my hair dyed a dark blonde. BTW, this was done professionally. The top area came out with dark blonde, gold/ red tones, and does not match my skin tone. I would like to be more in the neutral tones.

I've had 2 hair consultations so far. I was considering having my hair bleached out and re- colored with a medium beige blonde. I thought since I was dealing with 3 different hair shades, I would have to bleach the hair in order to achieve my desired color. I would like to stay at least 1 or 2 shades lighter then dark blonde.

The other hair stylist suggested to me, that she would do full heavy bleach highlights all over my head, and said that she would be able to use a blonde beige toner to get me as close to a blonde. Is this possible to do? And will it take out most of the red/ gold? I appreciate your help. Here's the color am going for,it's medium beige blonde. If you want to go from dark blonde to beige blonde, you will need to bleach your hair to yellow stage and then apply a medium beige blonde toner. Some stylist will try to talk you into getting highlights rather than dyeing your hair one color. Do not let any stylist talk you into doing a hair coloring process that you are uncomfortable with. If it's an all over color you want, don't be afraid to let them know that's what you desire. In the picture, the model has an all over medium beige blonde color. Take the picture with you to the salon and show it to your stylist, and he/she will try to achieve that color.
