"Well, " says the scientist, "simply put, we can start life from dirt, mold it, manipulate it’s chemical components, and make man”

"Well, that's interesting. Show me."

So the scientist bends down to pick up some dirt…

Rick, maybe being a hatchling explains the dry skin problems you are having. Reptilians do have a tendency to dry out if not properly hydrated.

Plus, too many fruit flies in your diet will dry out your scales also Rick.
