Need to find a very low priced place to buy
I need to be out by the end of this month. I don't have a lot of money (less then $1000) and my credit is very poor, although my fiance's has almost no credit. I heard that mobile homes get repossessed and resold for cheap, but can't find them. Someone help!

Where are you? Have you called offices of mobile home parks? The parks in my area - NY - are advertising foreclosed or for rent with option to buy on a daily basis.

You could Google mobile home reposessions and see what you get in your area. You will will have to have some sort of downpayment to get a loan on one though. They are not resold for as cheap as you probably would likee them to be.

Judy has an excellent idea about calling up parks. Some areas have owners willing to do just about anything to have someone take over their home. You just might be in such an area. In Ohio there are few and none of these type of deals available as they have been snapped up long ago. Maybe your area is better.

Thank you for all the responses. I was actually thinking of calling some parks today and maybe even some mobile dealers. I'm just having the issue of what questions to ask and what answers do I need. Thanks to all again

If this is a question I'd be honest when you call the Park - you have bad credit, you have $X for a downpayment, what do they have available?

You may very well find some owner financing, an owner willing to take a chance on you.

Most mobile home parks actually run credit checks on prospective tenants. They eliminate a lot of people this way.
