Fuel pump will not turn on no power going g to it

What would. Cause fuel pump not to come on on a89toyota pickup

Fuel pump relay? Fuse? Broken wire? Bad ignition switch?

Bad fuel pump fuse, fuel pump relay, ECM, ignition switch. Try cleaning contacts to the fuel pump fuse and fuel pump relay first.

When I used to see a lot of the 89 PU's being towed in due to FP inop, the first thing I'd find was a burnt efi fuse. The problem turned out to be a o2 sensor harness burnt and shorted to the exhaust pipe.
But that was only one of a few different FP issues I remember. That harness runs through the body under the pass seat and shorts can develop anywhere all the way up to the fuel rail.
