Will codeine show up different than hydrocodone or are they the same

Is this a prescription of yours that was prescribed by your doctor to you?

Hydrocodone is but I'm out I take them for my back. The codeine is my wife's

Depends on the type of test and to what level they are checking.

Both Codeine and Hydrocodone show up positive for Opiates.

When you screen positive for opiods, the confirmatory test will determine exactly what it was. They are not the same.
