HELP! Should I seek medical attention for a deep cut
I was washing a glass and while my hand was in it, I cut it when a piece of the glass popped right off and sheered into my hand above the thumb knuckle. The flap of skinn immediately turned white and of course bleed. I wrapped it and kept pressure on it.
However I clearly took off all layers, the flap has shriveled on all sides, the open cut has a dime size exposure where I can see two blood vessels under the fascia clearly.
Im not sure if the healthy part of skin that is keeping the flap attached will allow this flap (which sticks up because of the "curling in" of the edges) to eventually fall off. Nor do I know if the loss of all layers will still allow growth of new skin.
This is a ugly nasty one!

Often your deep cut can be the worst, since infection can get in and not be easy to clean. I would always suggest if and when you are not sure, take the safe range and get medical attention
