Quid wants OPEC To increase oil production
Drill baby Drill !!! As long as the drilling isn't being done in the USA .Anything wrong with that picture ?

Biden Officials Urge OPEC Members to Find Output Compromise - Bloomberg

More than $50 trillion in energy resources is in the ground on US soil .Enough to easily supply us with energy for a century ...... by then the next energy source will have been discovered and developed .

His policies do not even make sense environmentally . His policies are making carbon emissions worse by approving the Nord Stream II pipeline of dirty energy from Russia to Germany while killing pipelines and leases from cleaner oil and gas here .

The rush to renewable energy with things like subsidies for solar ,windmill ,electric cars and batteries aren’t going to change our fossil fuel energy demands for years. So, it is only a question of whether we get the oil from here or from foreign sources like OPEC or Russia.

Yes Quid is urging OPEC to open its taps even while his Administration is pursuing policies with the goal of shutting down U.S. oil and natural gas production. ,What the Dems don't want is a domestic oil industry . Nor do they care too much about the cost of energy . This higher the costs the easier it is to switch to high prices renewables .Note the emperor admitted as much when he said in 2008 that his plan would necessitate sky rocketing prices of electricity .

The only thing preventing Quid from completely enacting his energy goals by fiat is that it is illegal for him to do so .

Federal judge blocks Biden's pause on new oil, gas leases (apnews.com)

He loves the higher price. However there are political downsides to it . The public notices and it increases pressure to produce domestic oil .

If prices had gone up as fast under Trump you know the press would've been all over it . (up 40% since Quid's crowning ) Shmucky Shumer would've had his weekly press conference under a gas station marquee.
The price of oil surged to $75 a barrel under Quid's green energy policies. The price was as low as $35 a barrel under Trump because he believed in American energy dominance . This increase happened at a time when demand has increased post-covid . The real answer would be to open up domestic production .....not to demand more production from foreign sources .

Quid is really sucking up to the Saud's . His national security team held meetings last week with Prince Khalid bin Salman; brother of crown prince Mohammed bin(MBS) Salman . A US DNI assessment said that MBS was responsible for the murder of Compost reporter and US resident Jamal Khashoggi .

Khashoggi who had been critical of the Saudi ruling family, was killed inside a Saudi consulate in Istanbul . His trip to Turkey was green lighted by Khalid when he was the ambassador to the US from Saudi Arabia .Among those on the hit squad were 7 members of MBS's elite Rapid Intervention Force (RIF), the crown Prince's body guards .

During the campaign Quid vowed to make the Saudi's pay for that ; and “make them in fact the pariah that they are."

What US president doesn't suck up to the Saud's, it seems to be the one partisan policy

I think you misstate and conflate erroneously the case Biden is making to stabilize prices which has little to do with us or our reserves.

oh it has everything to do with it . He would not need to beg the OPEC nations to do anything if we would assume our role as an energy independent nation. He could tell them to suck on their oil .
