Further information about Bio Claire and other products, from our Skin Lightening Expert - Punkchic
Hey guys!
Bio Claire have proved to be a successful product for many on this forum. It lightens and brightens the skin. Unfortunately some members have had some sort of allergic reactions to it and therefore made them darker, so if you decide to use it, do a patch test first! Also, it might not work for everyone! As we all have different skin.
There are 3 types of Bio Claire. Cream, lotion and oil.
If you have any questions about the product, please post in this thread instead of creating a new thread. All other Bio Claire threads will be closed.
:)
For those that have been asking. I used bio claire on my face for about 3 weeks before I saw some lightening and on my body for about 6 or 7 weeks before I saw results. I had to stop using the bio claire on my face for about 2 weeks because it was lightening so much faster. It has been about 4 months now and I am happy with the results. I did tan a bit when I went on vacation, but I'm still lighter than I was before.
I did have a skin reaction to the BC, but I think it's part of the lightening process. I had the dry itchy skin (which passed in a week), then the red patches and the veiny look (which also passed) and small dark spots. I also used an exfoliating soap every time I shower. I think it helps to get all of the dead skin off before applying. I started with mixing the serum and the cream for the first 2 months, and I switched to the lotion. Overall I have lightened about 3-4 shades on my face and 2-3 shades on body. So I am very pleased.
Waow labella great. I've been on because for 4 days now using it on and off .so well see in 2 weeks what'll happen
Ye kpangor, keep us informed. I want to buy it but keep getting mixed responses
Xx
What I love about Bio Claire is that it's very cheap to buy and seemed to have worked for me. The other product I tried was DS (Too expensive!) and gave me dark patches! But the black soap was good.
Punkchic... what was your complexion like before using because?
Hi guys I'm new to the site the only reason I join is to let you guys know the real truth about skin "lightening lotions" it is a good procedure cat first, BUT it can ruin it meaning it thins the skin and stretches it so it becomes ripped like surgery scars it can occur all over the body except for the face. I am an experienced person and how I know I had happened to me I have hideous scars all over my legs stomach and arms. I regret the day I started this lightning regiment. Be smart stop now!! Yours truly.
I can't wear shorts any more I am so depressed I was trying to lighten my skin now I'm stuck with hideous scars will I ever find a man to love me with these scars.
Any questions please ask?
Trish I know what you talking about is by using bleaching gels and concentrated serums tha gives you stretch marks. I had them on my tights but they gone now caus I don't do gel and concentrated serum no more. I just started with this bio clair so we'll see how tha come up. But to say its seems like my face is getting white looooooool but I really want this product to fade my dark spots on my face quickly as it lightens it. So ill keep you updated and one more thing . Geez! My skin itches a while after I apply it loooooool but like some say it's a part of the lightenin process. So am all right 4 now
kpangor, would you say it would lighten dark kness and elbows? I've been looking for something that would do that. I too can't wear shorts and skirts 1. because of that and 2. because of dark scar marks etc. keep us informed :)Quote:

Trish bo what did you use to lighten, mono, hq or something else?
The best advice I can tell u ,is too use skin lightening cleansers only on those area at night time. Because with creams its might take a while and you might not even achieve the results you want, trust me I've been on bleaching products for years looooooolQuote:

What do you mean by skin lightening cleansers? Sorry, I must be boring you. For the problem of your arms getting darker, make sure you body brush - it gets rid of the dead skin cells and increase blood flow. Hope that helps :)Quote:

If you are getting lighter skin on your body in a week that is really, really good!Quote:

So be patient. Exfiloliate, exfoliate, exfoliate.
You know those liquid lotion [i don't mean body milk]tha you have to apply with a cotton ball? ok I tell you more. I use to use a african lotion [again not body milk] called ''eclatin'' omg! That's so strong its for area like hands ,knees, elbows, and feet. It definitely gets the job done.its recommended to use it 3 times a week. If you want to ask me more questions no problemmmmmmm llol... and hmm body brush very good ideaQuote:

Health News of Tuesday, 5 September 2006 << I read this and it says that bio claire is made in africa and has high amounts of hydroquinone in it and they lable it incorrectly so more people will buy it.. :O OMFG I'm so scared right now I've been getting good results but I think I'm going to throw it away because I'm not trying to get skin cancer.:( I guess I'll have to find some other way to remove a suntan *sigh* Anyone know a QUICK way to remove suntan PLEASE HELP ME!!
How did you loose the stretch maRKS MINE SEEMS PERMANENT
Bio Claire Is Very Good But Had A Tendency To Give Red Pimples All Over Body
For Suntan Use Neoprosone Gel It Worksssss.
Bio clair contains HQ, long term usage and their side effects scare me
From reading that article, I've seen this was written in 2006 which was a while ago. So maybe Bio Clair took out the hydroquinone and have now labeled it saying it contains no hydroquinone.Quote:

Oh okay thank god! I was about to throw away all of the bio claire I had but something told me to wait and see if someone responds and I guess they changed it :) yay!
It does not lighten knees and elbows you have to use neoprosone gel for that it works but to get rid of my scars I am taking a lightening pill than contains cologen to smooth the scars I'm using it noe for 2 weeks will let you know if it works its called enlighten.
I used bio claire and it messed up my skin some huge scars on my leg because it stretches the skin so thin that it starts to rip.uughhhhh ugly sight.
Some people have been using Bio Claire for years and have never experienced that. I have been using it for 5 months and not even close. Are you sure you were using Bio Claire? Sounds more like paint thinner, because I can't imagine anything else stretching my skin until it ripped. Or even using anything on my skin to the point of it actually ripping, for that matter. If it was thinning my skin I would have stopped using it before it got to the extreme of ripping and scars? Hhhmmm...Quote:

Well I have been using it for two years and I did not see any sign of that until it came abruptly I am not telling anyone to stop using go ahead keep using it I am just being honest and if you don't believe me you will surely get a wake up call. I am not the only one this happends to I know a couple of people that has it too I know a lot about "bleaching" I am jamaican and that is "the capital 'of bleaching KEEP USING IT AND YOU WILL SEE FOR YOURSELF.
Bio Claire is not a bleach.Quote:

So which is it? Is Bio Claire a great product that just simply gives you red pimples or is it a horrible product that rips your skin and gives you scars? Or is Bio Claire a great product that just simply gives you red pimples but AFTER two years of continuos use it is a horrible product that suddenly rips your skin and gives you scars?
Trish got her strectch marks and marks from using gels. Like she said she used neprosone gel which is very very dangerous. And about this bio claire once again does not contain hq if it didn't work for you stop making people scare to use it.
Ok To Make Myself Clear Bio Claire Is Great When U Just Start Using It, After A While U May Get Some Red Pimples On Skin (speaking From Experience) If You Use It Continueously For Abouy 2 Years And More It Thins The Skin Which You Don't Realise Til U It Gets Worse Meaning It Ripp Like You Got A Cut And It Heal It Looks Like Stretch Marks But Worse. Did I Explain Myself Better.
OK trish what did u use to cause u the marks the cream, the lotion or the oil or by mixing all of them together?
labella do u mix the lotion with the serum or u just using the lotion right now?
First Of All I Used Neoprosone Gel On My Face Not My Body So For You To Say That Your Wrong I Am Not Trying To Get Anyone Scared "to Each His Own " If You Want to Use It Go Ahead Knock Yourself Out, I Am A Experienced Person And Just Trying To Share Some Knowledge You Guys Are Toddlers In This Lightening Process. And We Call It "bleaching In Jamaica'' Different Country Different Way Of Talking. You Do What You Want to Do U May Experience Good Result Now But Do You Know The Side Effect? Don't Think So.
Kpangor This Answer Is For You Because U Seem Like The Only One Who Truly Believe Me, Well I Used The Oil By Itself On My Skin Which Is The Strongest Of Them All, I Also Mix It With The Cream.
I said what bio claire product causes you the marks? And if you used neprosone on yr face how do you know if it'll work on tan arms? Hmm trish not really making sense... and like you too I know about bleaching even born in it lollll am african so do the math
OK OK... trish I get it I get I think what ama do ama just mix the lotion with the oil and see what happen ama pause on the cream lollllll
See am just using it caus' I heARD GOOD REVIEWS ABOUT IT AND IT DOES NOT CONTAIN HQ WHICH IS GOOD. AND AM GOING ON WEEK SECOND SO FAR NO COMPLAIN YET LOLLLLLL
People bioclair does contain HQ, hence the reason why its smuggled into the country
Are you People R Going To Stop It With This Hq Thingy On Bc? Why Shoudnt Them Mention It On The Product . Other Products Like G&g Made By The Same Compagny Contains Hq And It Does Mention It On The Bottle
Again - Bio Clair does not contain hydroquinone. Maybe it did years ago, but now they have taken out that ingredient and put on the label that it contains no hydroquinone.Quote:

Everybody Is Noticing Already How Soooo Light Am Getting And Am Kind of Scare Too At The Same Time The Way Its Lightening So Fast I Don't Want to Get Dark In A Few Weeks Loooooooool So Ama Just Stop Bc 4 Now And Just Use A Good Skin Lightening Soap 4 Now...

Bio claire isn't smuggled into the States. It's not even that serious. It's $5.00 a tub. If it was $20 an oz and I had to buy it in the back of the beauty of store behing closed doors okay. This stuff is sitting on shelves next to the Shea & Cocoa butter.Quote:

I'll keep you guys posted.
Oh my gosh, sounds serious. When did you stop using it, as in, how long into using it were you until you stopped?Quote:

Monobenzone is actually closer in form to HQ (hello, monobenzyl ether of HQ), and far more dangerous than BioClaire (which has no HQ at all), if you want to bet technical. And no, it's not "smuggled into the country". If that was the case, why do I see it in every Asian hair store I go to out here in Maryland/Baltimore? Lol you're a mess!
Again, BioClaire=no HQ.
So I Suggest Ama Just Use Bc On My Body And Something Else On My Face
