    Could I be pregnant ?
I'm 18 year old female who is currently sexually active , I took a pregnancy test 5 days before missed period at clinic , it came back negative . I have a period tracker on my phone and lately I have been coming on at the beginning of the month and I would come on a couple days before the months out . My last recent period was August 31- September 5th . My period tracker told me I shouldve came on by now . And it's the last day in sept. but along with this I have been having an argue to vomit , but I haven't , headaches lower back pain and lower right abdomen pains . Could I still have a possibility of begin pregnant ?

You had sex... you could be pregnant. EVERY, and I do mean EVERY woman is going to have off months... no woman alive is ever completely on time every time. Not that has had a period more than a few years.

You need to be at least a week late, and even better two weeks late for that to matter much, and once you are that late its time to take a pregnancy test. Not whenever you feel like but ONLY right after you wake up and ONLY the first time you pee that morning. Or wait until the next day.

While some women will receive an accurate result when using a urine test a few days before a period is due, the majority of women will need to wait until after an expected period is late. This is because ovulation, while usually fairly consistent, can vary from woman to woman, and even for an individual. Many will follow the norm, but plenty of women will be earlier or later than the norm....hence an average. Also, the number of days for implantation to occur can vary. Finally, another reason for variations is that many pregnancy tests today are more sensitive than they once were, allowing for earlier accuracy and less constraints in timing for many women.

As smoothly mentioned, cycles can be irregular now and then, even skipping a month with pregnancy being just one possible reason. Give it a bit more time, and if still no period, try another pregnancy test. If negative, see what happens when you would expect your period for the next month. You can certainly test again before that time to ease your mind.

First a period tracker is a fun game, but it is almost never perfect. Many women are not regular and trackers are of little or no value. You can be early a few days or late a few days, that is more "normal".

With that said, unless it was a blood test, the urine tests are less exact till you are about two week late. (so wait two more weeks to test )
You should at this point not be having any pregnancy signs, like sick and foods and things like that.

When you do test, earlier it should be first thing in the morning with the first urine of the day for the best result.

but of course, if yyou are having sex, you could be pregnant.

You may as well relax for another few days or so and see what happens. Of course being sexually active can always lead to pregnancy at anytime but it's a bit early to know for sure.

Please follow the very excellent suggestions of the other posters.
