If I donate sperm to a girl
IF I donate my sperm to a girl(by having sex)
Can she in the future get me in chilldsupport?

Can I get to sign a paper saying I donated my sperm and that way I will be okay?

Nope... you will be her banker for at least 18 years... and there is no contract you can write up that will get you off the hook if you do this the old fashioned way.

Is some girl asking you to help her have a child? If so, you agree only if a) you provide the sperm through a legal sperm bank and b) she signs a contract absolving you of any responsibility for the child. If the contract is written by a competent attorney that should let you off the hook. If you have sex with her all bets are off and she can hold you responsible.

I find no reference to U.S. law which shields a sperm donor from liability for child support. This article suggests that
"... Laws regulating sperm donation address issues such as:
    ...
When, if ever, can a donor be held liable for child support?..."

But I can find no reference to a law on the books of any of the states which insulates a sperm donor from CS liability; although of course proving his identity may be difficult (but not impossible). Is there any such law?

In the absence of such a law, I for one wouldn't touch the job of writing such a contract with a 10' pole.

Here is an agreement I happened to find online.
    "...
    24) In the event that the donor is ever found by a court to have a financial responsibility for the child, the recipient agrees to compensate the donor in the amount that the donor is legally compelled to provide for the child.
    ..."

If that's the best the drafter of the contract can do, it's not good enough. It clearly contemplates that the donor may be found liable for CS, and the best it can provide is that she will pay him back what CS he has to pay. What if she's judgment proof? :)

I'm not going to argue with that, it's a longshot anyway. I was thinking simply of contract law which does allow a party to indemnify another as long as there is no fraud or negligence.

But I have the suspicion here that the OP's friend wants to do this cheaply and isn't going to pay for artificial insemination.

If this was the case, I would see men carry this form with them for all one night stands.

But no, you have sex, you are the father, and you will have to pay child support, even if the women does not file, if she receives or the child receives any government assistants, or welfare, the state will come after you for the support

It appears that OP imagines that it's all about what magic words he uses. He thinks that:
    • If its a one-night stand, father pays CS.;
    • But if he calls it "donation of sperm" he can somehow escape CS.

Clearly it doesn't work that way. :)

And I suspect that an agreement, signed by the woman pre-coitus, to waive child support, would be unenforceable as against public policy.

Ok. I will try to give you simple answers. But keep in mind that simple is not going to be as accurate as detailed. :)

    Yes.

(But I still don't understand what, if any, difference there is between "donating", and good old-fashioned sex.)

Please don't take offense, but I've got to wonder:

Why does she want her child to have your DNA anyway? Good looks? Strength? It sure doesn't appear to be intelligence.

What do you think we have been telling you? If you get her pregnant you are on the hook for child support. Whatever she signs is not likely to be honored by a court.

Taking a lot of Vitamin C will give you a horrible case of jitters and you will feel sick and have diarrhea. It won't cause a miscarriage. And it's too late now to scheme ways to make her miscarry. Please don't pretend to be her.

Extreme amounts of Vit C can cause other stomach issues but not a miscarriage.
    o
You have no choice but to go to the doctor at this point. You are 21, there is no need to tell your parents at all.

How dare you consider trying to cause an abortion in another person, You made a choice and now you have to live with it.

Why, he got a girl pregnant, thought some agreement would get him out of paying child support, found out he has to pay support, she is already 5 week pregnant, and now he wants to cause a misscarriage by some "natural means" without a doctor.

That is what I get when I put the two posts together.

I've merged your two threads since they bear on the same issue. Instead of lying to us, you need to tell us the exact truth. Have you gotten a girl pregnant? Who is this girl and how old is she?

If you tell us the truth now, we can try to help. If you continue lying, we'll just close this.
