    I'm one of the old and wise ones :D, so tell us more.

    What's going on with your body? (Being scared will only make things worse. Let's sit back and be logical here. Think of this as a problem to be solved, so let's put our heads together and solve it.)

    Are you pregnant or do you think your pregnant?

    Do you have a specific health problem, or is this something new?

    Do your friends know about this, or is it something you find hard to talk about?

    Could you say what age you are?

    Lots of questions I know, but it will help towards the answers you get.

    How long has it been since you have seen a doctor?

    If the pregnancy test was negative, and your still sick a few months later its time to go back to the doctor and get to the bottom of what's wrong.

    Have to spoken to your mum about how your feeling,health wise?

    Feeling ill for a long period takes its toll, including the stress factor.

    Getting back to the doctor will help get to the bottom of what's physically going on in your body.

    The doctor would have done a blood test. It means there's isn't enough iron in your blood -- "tired blood." You could have ulcers or the beginnings of ulcers (stomach pain, inability to lie flat or on your stomach, bleeding). Not enough oxygen is getting into your blood.

    Syrup is basically sugar. Not good.

    You need meat -- red meat like beef and also liver. Will you eat liver?

    Can you call your doctor's office to get the hemoglobin number from the blood draw?

    Foods that are a good source of iron include:

    * liver
    * lean red meats, including beef, pork, lamb
    * seafood, such as oysters, clams, tuna, salmon, and shrimp, etc.
    * beans, including kidney, lima, navy, black, pinto, soy beans, and lentils
    * iron fortified whole grains, including cereals, breads, rice, and pasta
    * greens, including collard greens, kale, mustard greens, spinach, and turnip greens
    * tofu
    * vegetables, including broccoli, swiss chard, asparagus, parsley, watercress, brussel sprouts
    * chicken and turkey

    Do you take iron once or twice a day? Without skipping? How big is the dose? (What is each iron pill worth?)

    Lunch first -- something healthy and more than two potato chips -- and cut out the syrup. You're eating 'way too much of that.
